Things You Need to Know when You Visit Us

  • We do not sell gourmet coffee despite the name :)

  • We utilize system that “cleanses” our computers on every restarts, hence you are guaranteed to get a fresh system every morning or every restarts.
    • Benefits:
      • Any worms and viruses that attacked the system as a result of previous person browsing experience will be wiped off on restarts.
      • No unnecessary cookies and caches which could expose your privacy while browsing.
    • Disadvantages:
      • Some people might find it hard to install temporary application that needs system restart
      • You can not save your files (such as your word documents) in the computer storage to reuse the next day or week (We never recommend this on any public computers anyway!).
      • However, we provide our own file sharing server, which you can store your files (we do not guarantee its persistence as we clean up the file storage every now and then) to re-use in your next visits. Please ask our friendly staff how this works.

  • We default our browser to Mozilla Firefox (the world’s best and most secure browser in the world!) instead of Internet Explorer. Please experience Firefox in our internet cafe and you will be protected from harmful files while browsing.
  • We do not and will never impose downloads and uploads fee ever! But please remember that it is illegal to download any copy righted media files in any forms from the internet. Hence we reserve the rights to shut your downloads as soon as we find out about your download activities.

  • We provide Microsoft Office suites for people who require them to write letters, resumes, CVs, cover letters or spreadsheets. Please inquire us where you can use this as not all of our computers are equipped with Office Suites. (However all our computer has Open Office installed)

  • We use high quality printing device, which prints amazing results in both black and white and Color. We only use grade A A4 paper. (Come inside and feel the paper:) )

  • Printing however is a self service that requires you to use one of our computers. However if you have colour printing jobs or PDF files, we would be happy to help you print without having to use a machine. The reason is, files such as MS Words might have different format from your original files due to various reasons such as different version, and hence you may need to do some minor format corrections.

  • In any public internet cafes NEVER assume on the outcomes of print outs when printing from internet sites. Hence please always ask for help when printing, as any print-outs are chargeable including blank pages.
